AutoBaughn Racing began in 2004 when Don (dad) and Ray (son) decided that driving an oval dirt-track car would be a blast. The team’s first car was a 1982 Chevy Malibu (see “Photos”) donated by family members and raced in the Bomber class at Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, Kansas and Mid-America Speedway in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma.
In 2007, AutoBaughn Racing purchased a Crate Late Model (see “Photos”) and has raced primarily in Eastern Nebraska . The team is made up of the Baughn family and friends who enjoy the challenge of competition and going faster. The car and class have changed but the thrill of a racing a properly setup (fast) car is the same; a blast!
